On May 20, Wagoner County investigators submitted new charges on Slagle to the Wagoner County District Attorney’s office for review after receiving the Oklahoma Medical Examiners Office report.

On June 2, District Attorney Jack Thorp’s office filed updated charges that include murder in the first degree, 4 counts of domestic assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, child neglect, and pattern of criminal offenses.

Zwirtz is a tribal citizen and charges were submitted to tribal entities for review. The FBI will accept the investigation.
