BIXBY, Okla. — The City of Bixby has announced its assistant city manager, Kim Coody, has been placed on administrative leave.
The city said Coody’s leave is effective immediately and is to help allow the City of Bixby “conduct a deeper internal inquiry into the notification of City Council members regarding events surrounding the suspended City Manager that took place several weeks ago.”
On May 26, the City of Bixby confirmed previous city manager Joey Wiedel’s arrest and announced the interim City Manager as Bixby Police Chief Todd Blish.
On May 29, the City of Bixby announced the resignation of Brad Girard from his position as mayor.
