TULSA COUNTY, Okla. — The Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office (TCSO) said a woman was arrested after she was accused of stabbing a man in the leg with a sword.
Around 10:00 a.m. on Monday, deputies said they were called out to an area near North Peoria Avenue and East 71st Street North for a reported stabbing.
Authorities said the victim told them he had been stabbed in the leg with a sword by his former girlfriend.
Deputies said the suspect then stole a gun from the victim’s house and ran away from the area.
The victim was transported to the hospital for treatment and is expected to recover.
Law enforcement said they began searching the area and were able to quickly locate the suspect and the stolen gun.
The suspect was then taken into custody and transported to the Tulsa County Jail.
Authorities said she’s currently facing the following charges:
- Domestic Assault and Battery with a Deadly Weapon
- First-Degree Burglary
- Trespass After Forbidden
We have not used the suspect’s name or mugshot because they have not yet been officially charged.
