TULSA, Okla. — Tulsa Police arrest a man who they say kicked in the front door of a woman’s house in the middle of the night near 71st and Lewis for no apparent reason.
The victim told police that around 3:30 in the morning on Tuesday, she heard a loud noise toward the front of her house.
They say she found the front door wide open and the doorframe cracked.
Police say her doorbell camera recorded 36-year-old Dehrian Wilson walking up, kicking in the door, and walking away.
They say they found him a few blocks away and arrested him.
They say the victim and Wilson don’t know each other.
They say the doorbell camera was key in finding him and encourage citizens to purchase surveillance cameras for their home if they can afford them.
Wilson is now facing a first-degree burglary charge.
