TULSA, Okla. — America’s first flying car will land on Route 66 for the Centennial Celebration at the Route 66 Road Fest from June 27-28.
Visitors will have the chance to see the inside of the flying car, learn more about the aircraft, and watch flight demonstrations.
The car is called the BlackFly and it is an all-electric vertical takeoff and landing vehicle, or eVTOL, which was designed for everyday use.
The pilots at the demonstration will include father-daughter duo John and Heather Chirtea, who are often called “the real-world Jetsons.”
Visitors will have the opportunity to meet the pilots and learn more about their experiences with the flying car.
Demonstrations and the chance to see the flying car at Route 66 Road Fest will take place on June 27 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and June 28 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
