CREEK COUNTY, Okla. — A 17-year-old was killed and two others were injured in a rollover crash in Creek County early Friday morning, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
OHP said the crash happened around 2 a.m. near South 401st West Avenue and West 181st Street South.
According to troopers, the driver was traveling south on South 401st West Avenue when the vehicle crossed the centerline, left the roadway, crossed back to the right side, rolled over, struck a fence and came to rest on its roof in the roadway.
The driver, a 40-year-old Bristow woman, and another passenger were injured in the crash. A 17-year-old passenger from Bristow died.
OHP reported that not everyone in the vehicle was wearing a seatbelt. The crash is still under investigation.
