“Today, our Broken Arrow community is grieving.
It is with a heavy heart that I learned of the tragic incident today.
I am heartbroken to learn of the tragic incident of a young child at the Carlyle Apartments. As a mother and grandmother, I cannot begin to imagine the pain this family is experiencing. My heart aches for them, and I ask our community to lift them up in prayer as they face the unimaginable.
I also want to thank our Broken Arrow Police Department, Broken Arrow Fire Department, EMSA, and every first responder who rushed to the scene. They responded with urgency, professionalism, and compassion, doing everything possible in an incredibly difficult situation. These are the moments that stay with them long after the call ends, so please keep them in your prayers as well.
Tonight, Broken Arrow mourns with this family. May they find comfort in the love that surrounds them, and may we all hold our own loved ones a little closer.”
