Waterline break causes Oak Grove tornado sirens to self-activate

OAK GROVE, Okla. — The Oak Grove Fire Department said a waterline break caused the City’s tornado sirens to self-activate on Sunday morning.

The waterline break flooded an entire room at the fire station. The electronics for the tornado sirens had gotten wet, causing the sirens to activate.

Oak Grove Fire Department apologized for the confusion.
