A shooting near 71st and Memorial landed one man in jail and another in the morgue.

At around 2:30 a.m. Sunday morning, Tulsa Police said a gathering of people at 71st and Memorial resulted in a shooting that killed one person. Andre Baul with TPD said that witnesses told police a tall, black male with dreadlocks fired a gun into a crowd in the parking lot of Incredible Pizza, and one person was shot and killed.

Reports said everyone scattered after the gunshots and left the area; however, officers received a call from a local hospital saying they had a gunshot victim named Ahmod Henry, who died from his injuries.

“(Officers) got a call from Saint Francis, the ER, and said they had a victim who had just come in with a gunshot, and that person was now deceased,” Baul said.

Officers say witnesses and security footage from area businesses identified a suspect, who was apprehended later that day. Police arrested 28-year-old Ladrea Doyle for First-Degree Murder.
