TULSA, Okla. — Tulsa Public Schools’ Extended School Year Services team has been bringing unique learning opportunities to special education students across the district during the month of July.
TPS partnered with the Tulsa Zoo for visits to multiple schools including MacArthur Elementary, Hale High School, and the Tulsa Transition Academy.
The Tulsa Police and Fire Departments will also pay a visit to the schools later in the month.
The program serves as a complement to the instructional time students receive during the school year, according to officials with TPS.
