OWASSO, Okla. — Owasso Police say a Collinsville teenager led them on a dangerous, high-speed chase last night.
Around 10:00 p.m. Wednesday, police say they saw 19-year-old Lomas Dillon Martinez doing burnouts and doughnuts in his Mustang in the Target parking lot at Smith Farm shopping center.
They say when they tried to stop him, he sped away, nearly hitting a group of nearby pedestrians.
Police say they had his car boxed in a couple of times but say he rammed police vehicles to get away.
They say they then used a tactical vehicle maneuver in the 12200 block of northbound Highway 75 to push him off the roadway and into a field, where he was arrested.
They say he later admitted to drinking a bottle of vodka before the incident in the Target parking lot.
He’s now facing charges of Reckless Driving, Assault with a Dangerous Weapon, Aggravated DUI and more.
