BRISTOW, Okla. — A 19-year-old Bristow man has been arrested on complaints involving child sexual abuse material.
Bristow Police say they started investigating Derrick Dewayne Carney the Third after getting information about possible criminal activity.
They say they got a search warrant for his home and, yesterday, seized multiple electronic devices and arrested Carney, who is now facing charges of Attempted Purchase of Child Sexual Abuse Material and Violation of the Oklahoma Computer Crimes Act.
They say the OSBI Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force assisted with the investigation.
