TULSA, Okla. — A Tulsa woman is dead and four others injured following a crash along Interstate 44 in west Tulsa Wednesday, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
According to the report, a vehicle was traveling westbound on I-44 before 6:30 p.m. and was approaching the merge with I-244 at the west split in the inside lane. At the same time, Vica Perez, 28, was doing the same in the outside lane. The driver of the first vehicle then crossed into the outside lane and hit Perez’s vehicle causing both vehicles to leave the roadway.
OHP says Perez died and two passengers in the vehicle with her were injured.
The driver of the other vehicle was not hurt, but two passenger in the vehicle were.
