ERIE, Penn. — Before she hit several Oklahoma banks, the woman dressed as an old lady was doing the same thing in other states. Erie Pennsylvania Police said that on Aug. 11, the woman defrauded a bank, wearing a bad gray wig, large glasses, and a blue dress, while using a cane.
The disguise was very similar to the one used in Oklahoma. Luckily, police were able to get footage of the woman at a grocery store without some of the disguise, including the wig.
Several weeks later, the woman attempted to defraud banks in Owasso and Skiatook. Reports say detectives in New York would also like to speak with her about a similar fraud.
She has been compared to Vicki Lawrence’s character in the 80s TV Show “Mama’s Family.”
