STROUD, Okla. – The Oklahoma Turnpike Authority says that it will narrow eastbound I-44/Turner Turnpike to one lane just east of Stroud at mile marker 181 starting at 9 pm Thursday, Sept. 3. The closure is necessary so that crews can remove a semi-truck after an earlier crash in that spot. Crews will make the removal and repairs at night to lessen the impact to traffic.
The work is scheduled to be complete by the Friday morning commute.
