You’ll be paying a bit more at the pump the next time you get gas around Tulsa.
Prices started rising Monday, and by Tuesday morning, most stations had hiked the price of regular unleaded gasoline to at or near $3.99 per gallon.
Higher grades were back over the $4 mark. Diesel prices are in record territory at $5.99 around Tulsa.
According to GasBuddy.com, some stations were still selling gas for less, but you may have to do some driving to find it. The site showed a Murphy USA in Owasso had a gallon of gas for $3.69 Tuesday morning.
Sam’s Club and Costco gas will also come in cheaper, but you must be a member to purchase gas at one of those stores.
Compared to national prices, the Tulsa area is still coming in a little lower.
According to AAA, the national average for gas on Tuesday was $4.33 per gallon, while diesel was sitting at $6.27.
