TULSA, Okla. — The Tulsa Police Department arrested a teenager accused of stabbing another teenager at a north Tulsa event center on Sunday.
Police said officers responded to the California Event Center near North Sheridan Road and East Easton Street around midnight.
Officers found a 15-year-old victim near the entrance with a severe knife wound to his upper left chest. Venue security guards were already administering first aid.
Police said officers discovered the two teens had a history of arguments and crossed paths at the venue. A verbal argument started, and the 16-year-old suspect pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim.
Witnesses pointed out the suspect in the parking lot, and officers quickly took him into custody while managing a large crowd. Both the victim and multiple witnesses later identified him as the attacker.
