BERRYHILL, Okla. — Tulsa County Sheriff’s Deputies have arrested a man who’s accused of stealing a phone charger from the EZ Mart in Berryhill Friday night and then hitting a store clerk with his vehicle.
The Sheriff’s Office says 27-year-old Colby Axsom took the phone charger, threatened the clerk with a knife, and then, when the clerk was trying to get a picture of Axsom’s license plate, they say Axsom put his vehicle in reverse and hit the clerk and then hit another vehicle as he fled the scene.
Luckily, they say the clerk wasn’t seriously hurt.
With the help of FLOCK cameras, they say they identified Axsom and found him at a home in Creek County and took him into custody.
He’s now facing charges of Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon, AFCF Assault with a Deadly Weapon, and Larceny from a Retailer.
