TULSA, Okla. – Two properties in Tulsa have been added to the National Register of Historic Places.
Hawk Dairies, which was built in 1947-1948, and the First Christian Church, established in 1918, will receive specialized tax incentives through the Oklahoma State Historic Preservation Office and the National Park Service.
In addition to the tax incentives, the designation offers some protection and national recognition.
Hawk Dairies will be converted into apartments, and the First Christian Church will be converted into a mixed-use building. It will include apartments, a music venue, and a restaurant.
