CLEVELAND COUNTY, Okla. – After nearly two months of nightly excursions, a pet caiman has been returned to its owner.
Deputies with the Cleveland County Sheriff’s Office shared body cam footage of the caiman’s rescue.
A caiman, which is a small reptile that looks similar to an alligator, was first reported missing in August. Deputies have been searching for the pet for weeks.
It turns out this critter was hiding out in a creek behind a subdivision.
