SAPULPA –– Sapulpa Police are currently dealing with a standoff at a residence in town.
A Sapulpa man has barricaded himself in his home near Walnut and Lincoln. There is a large number of police and first responders in the area, and Sapulpa Police officer Troy Foreman tells KRMG this isn’t the first time the man has done this.
Foreman says they had a similar incident a few weeks ago where the same man barricaded himself in his home and blocked the front door.
Reports said officers were attempting to apprehend the man today after a previous altercation, but he eluded officers and ran into his home. The suspect is considered armed and dangerous, and the SWAT Team is on site.
