TULSA, Okla. — A Tulsa woman was sentenced on Friday after being charged with five counts of manslaughter in a 2024 crash with a firetruck that killed five people.

In February 2024, Keiosha Rucker was driving near South Harvard Avenue and East 41st Street when Tulsa Police said Rucker pulled out in front of a firetruck as it was heading to a building fire with its lights and sirens on.

One adult, three children and the unborn child of a pregnant passenger died in the crash.

According to law enforcement and court documents, Rucker was found to be an unlicensed driver at the time of the crash and her toxicology report was positive for cocaine and THC.

Rucker entered a no contest plea and received her sentence from the judge in her case on Friday.

Rucker was sentenced to life in prison for her manslaughter charges with an additional year in prison for a DUI conviction.
