Tulsa Fire Department responds to apartment fire at south Tulsa apartment complex

TULSA, Okla. — The Tulsa Fire Department responded to an apartment fire at a south Tulsa apartment complex on Thursday.

The department said they were called out for reports of an apartment fire around 4:00 p.m. at an apartment complex near South Braden Avenue and East 47th Place.

The Tulsa Fire Department quickly responded to the scene and worked to get the fire under control.

At this time, TFD reported 16 units are uninhabitable due to the fire.

No injuries were reported and the Red Cross is responding to assist those who have been displaced from their homes.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation, but it’s believed it may have began in the attic of the building.
