TULSA, Okla. — The Tulsa Zoo recently welcomed a new bird to their family.
They introduced Big Sean, a male trumpeter swan, to the zoo. Staff says he will serve as companion to their female, Tammy.
The two will be on display outside from the bridge between Life in the Cold and Desert.
Tulsa Zoo says trumpeter swans get their name from their loud trumpet-like calls that can be heard for miles.
