INOLA, Okla. — The Rogers County Election Board has stated that a recount has been scheduled for one of the school propositions that passed for Inola Public Schools in the recent election.
The board said a petition was filed in regard to Proposition 2, which would go to funding new school buildings in the amount of $29.9 million.
The propostion narrowly passed by a margin of 320 votes.
The recount hearing is set for Friday, April 17 at the Rogers County Courthouse at 9 a.m. During the hearing, the court will oversee the recound process. Representatives from both sides may be present during the recount, along with authorized observers.
