TULSA, Okla. — The Tulsa Fire Department responded to a fire at an apartment complex in south Tulsa Thursday morning.

According to them, crews were dispatched around 5 a.m. to a single-unit apartment fire at the Woodland Hills Apartments near East 66th Place and Memorial Drive. When they arrived, they saw light smoke coming from the apartment. The resident were already outside with their cat and dog.

“We were able to get things under control fairly quickly,” says Hayden Moseby, Lieutenant with Tulsa Fire Department. “It wasn’t a very big fire and it didn’t make it into the attic. It was mostly contained in the kitchen.”

No one was injured at the scene. The cause is currently under investigation.
