Officers called off the pursuit after the driver reached 90 miles per hour on the highway. The TPD helicopter then took over the chase.

Martinez then exited his vehicle and tried to hide under a porch.

The officers in the helicopter watched Martinez and directed officers on the ground to his location.

Police said officers asked Martinez if he’d been drinking after finding multiple open containers in the truck. Martinez told officers that he’d only had beer.

Martinez was arrested and taken to the Tulsa County Jail for aggravated DUI, eluding a police officer and transporting an open container.
