ROGERS COUNTY, Okla. — The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said three people are dead after a crash on Highway 169 in Rogers County Saturday night.
Around 9:32 p.m., 21-year-old Ryan Lawfer from Sapulpa was driving on Highway 169 near East 300 Road.
Lawfer’s vehicle was involved in a head-on crash with a pickup truck hauling a boat.
OHP said Lawfer, and two passengers, 22-year-old Aidan Jones from Wagoner and a 17-year-old, were pronounced dead. A third passenger was injured during the crash.
The pickup truck’s driver was traveling with three passengers, one of which was injured. The condition of the driver has not been released by OHP.
OHP said the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
