TULSA, Okla. — The Tulsa Fire Department responded to a water rescue event Wednesday morning in east Tulsa.
According to TFD, emergency crews were notified that two people were in the water near Lynn Lane Resevoir, located near East 21st Street and South 193rd East Avenue before 9:30 a.m. They say one person was unable to swim. The two were against a slippery wall near a waterfall feature and were unable to climb out out.
TFD, the Tulsa Police Department, Rolling Hill Fire Department and Oak Grove Fire Department were notified about the incident due to the dual-response area. Repsonders worked to get the exact location of the two in need of assistance and located them.
TFD says the two were located right after 9:30 a.m. and both were found alive near the bank. They say one person may have been injured and both needed help to get out of the water. The two individuals were rescued from the water by 9:35 a.m. and all additional until were canceled.
