TULSA, Okla. — The Tulsa Police Department is giving the community a chance to get a behind-the-scenes look at police work.
Registration is now open for TPD’s Citizens Police Academy for Fall 2026. The course is designed to show residents the several squads and divisions of the department. The class also has topics like use of force, firearms training, pursuits, and investigations.
The course is free to residents living, working, or going to school in Tulsa. TPD says the classes will have hands-on learning, but will not be physically taxing.
The Fall session starts September 10 and will meet on Thursday nights until graduation on December 10.
