CLAREMORE, Okla. — Okie Pet Rescue in Claremore is warning of a fake Facebook account that is attempting to collect donations under the rescue’s name.
The rescue said the imposter page is messaging requests for donations under false pretenses.
The page is not affiliated with Okie Pet Rescue. The rescue is asking the public to report the fake page to help protect its supporters and the animals its serves.
The fake page is using the name “Okie Pets Rescue.”
