The Tulsa Air and Space Museum is celebrating the addition of an A-10 Warthog for permanent display at the entrance of the museum.
The Warthog is a close air support aircraft known for its iconic 30 millimeter Gatling gun. Museum officials say this particular plane saw combat in Operation Desert Storm.
The public is invited to attend a dedication ceremony planned for the historic plane.
The event will include a chance to hear stories from A-10 combat pilots, and people who maintained it.
The dedication ceremony is set for Saturday, May 16 from noon to 3 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at the museum’s website.
