CHOUTEAU, Okla. — Chouteau-Mazie Public Schools dismissed classes early Monday afternoon after a waterline break caused a loss of water pressure, officials said.
Superintendent Josh Gwartney said the break resulted in a complete loss of water pressure, making it impossible to operate schools without running water.
Classes were dismissed at 2 p.m., with bus routes beginning at that time.
The district also canceled all after-school activities and child care programs.
Schools in the district were also dismissed early Friday due to a waterline break.
