TULSA, Okla. — The Tulsa Police Department said they’ve arrested a man in connection to a fatal shooting that occurred on Sunday evening.
Around 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, police said they responded to a call reporting a shooting at a house near East 27th Street and 103rd East Avenue.
When officers arrived, they stated they found several witnesses holding down the suspect, later identified as 21-year-old Darwin Vasquez-Barrios.
Authorities said they were able to take Vasquez-Barrios into custody without incident.
Police said the victim was found in the backyard of the home with a fatal gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The department said homicide detectives are still actively investigating this case.
Vasquez-Barrios was taken to the Tulsa County Jail and is currently facing a First-Degree Murder charge.
