The bill extends the current one year ban on cell phone use in Oklahoma’s public and charter school classrooms indefinitely.

Lawmakers originally passed this law as a ban for just this school year, but feedback and responses from school districts were so overwhelmingly positive that state lawmakers voted to make the ban permanent.
