TULSA, OKla. — A couple has been arrested after police say they stole from a retail store in midtown Tulsa Tuesday.
According to the Tulsa Police Department, officers responded to a larceny call at Ollie’s Bargain Outlet near 21st and Yale around 7:20 p.m. Employees said a couple and their dog walked out of the store through a fire exit with two shopping carts full of items worth more than $1,200 without making any attempt to pay.
Officers viewed the store’s security video and canvassed the area and located the two pushing the cart through the grass along 15th Street and Yale.
The couple at first said someone gifted them the items, but later admitted to taking all the items from the store.
They were both arrested and booked into Tulsa County Jail for grand larceny.
