Tulsa Police investigating double shooting in north Tulsa Sunday morning

TULSA, Okla. — The Tulsa Police Department is investigating after two people were shot in north Tulsa Sunday morning.

According to police, officers responded to reports of a shooting in the area of 6300 North Cheyenne Avenue around 2 a.m. When officers arrived, they found two shooting victims, one inside and one outside the residence.

Police say a 27-year-old woman had a wound to the chest and a 16-year-old male had a wound to his upper left arm. Both victims were taken to the hospital and listed as being stable.

Detectives recovered multiple shell casings from the scene and that the suspects fled before officers arrived. Their identities are unknown at this time.
