TULSA, Okla. — Tulsa International Airport is offering local teenagers a chance to explore careers in aviation through its summer Aerospace Career Exploration (ACE) camps.
The program is open to students ages 14 to 18 and is designed to introduce participants to a variety of careers in the aviation industry.
Camp attendees will hear from industry professionals, tour airport businesses and get a behind-the-scenes look at how the airport operates.
Two sessions are scheduled for the summer. A girls-only camp will take place June 9-10, followed by a co-ed session July 14-15.
Airport officials say the program aims to give students hands-on exposure and insight into potential career paths in aviation.
