BROKEN ARROW, Okla. — The Wagoner County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a Tulsa man in an undercover sting operation who they was looking to engage in sexual activity with a minor.
According to the report, investigators conducted an operation on May 30 targeting people looking to engage in sexual activity with minors. During it, an undercover criminal informant used a decoy posing as a 15-year old female online. The sheriff’s office says a man made contact with the decoy and engaged with sexually explicit conversations and arranged to meet the “15-year-old female” for sexual activity in exchange for money.
Wendt was transported to a local area hospital for evaluation for minor injuries sustained in the arrest and was later booked into the Wagoner County Detention Center. He was charged with two counts of assault and battery with a deadly weapon, endangering others while eluding a police officer, resisting an executive officer, lewd or indecent proposals or acts to a child, and engaging in prostitution, lewdness, or assignation.
