TULSA, Okla. — The Tulsa Police Department said a motorcyclist miraculously only suffered minor injuries after his bike crashed into a light pole and careened back into traffic.
On Tuesday morning, authorities said traffic on the Tisdale Parkway came to a standstill after a motorcyclist lost control of his bike and ended up crashing it.
According to the motorcyclist, he’d been driving southbound on the Tisdale when his handlebars started a “Speed Wobble,” also known as a “Tank Slapper” or “Death Wobble.”
Authorities said the rider lost control of his bike and veered off the highway, crashing into a light pole and knocking it down.
Police said that initial crash ripped the front forks off the man’s bike.,
The department said the rider had been wearing a helmet when the crash occurred.
