Missing Tulsa County woman found safe

TULSA COUNTY, Okla. — The Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office says a missing woman who wandered from her home overnight has been found safe, thanks to their tracking team and K-9 search dog.

The Sheriff’s Office says 21-year-old Alexandra Stone – who goes by ‘Zandra’ – was potentially in more danger because she has a diminished mental capacity and operates at the intellectual level of a 7-year-old.

They say they’re not sure exactly how long she had been gone when her family realized she was missing this morning.

And several hours more had gone by when they say deputies and their K-9 officer ‘Missy’ found her about 1:00 p.m.

They say she was safe and has been reunited her with her family.
