City of Tulsa utility crews will be working on transmission lines in south Tulsa, leading to intermittent lane closures over the next two weeks on East 51st Street, South Hudson Avenue, East 61st Street, and East 71st Street.
Beginning Monday, the northbound lane of South Hudson Avenue will be closed during the project from East 51st Street to East 61st Street, with just the southbound lane open.
Other closures include the outermost eastbound lanes of East 51st Street, intermittent closures of East 61st Street that will prevent right-turns onto South Hudson Avenue, and the outermost eastbound lane of East 71st Street.
Drivers are advised to plan ahead, use caution in work zones, and consider alternate routes. Crews have coordinated with nearby schools to minimize disruptions for pick-up and drop-off.
