NOWATA COUNTY, Okla. — The Nowata County Sheriff’s Office says former sheriff James Hallett has died.
The office says the sheriff passed away peacefully in the arms of his wife.
A funeral will be held on June 9 at 10 a.m. at the First Church of God.
