Tulsa County adds second early-voting location before June primary

The Oklahoma June primaries are just under two weeks away, and Tulsa County has added a second early-voting location.

Tulsa County Election Board Secretary Gwen Freeman recently announced there are now two early voting locations for the June primaries, including the new election board headquarters.

The old building was located in downtown Tulsa, but they moved to 12000 East Skelly Drive. Tulsa Tech’s Broken Arrow campus, located at 4600 S. Olive Ave., is now the second location for early voting and will be open June 11-13. The locations will be open on the 11th and 12th from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., and on the 13th from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Freeman tells KRMG, “We hope our early voters really love this location.”

She also said that voters don’t have to live in Broken Arrow to vote at the Broken Arrow location.

The second location was created to accommodate voters in both north and south Tulsa. Election day is Tuesday, June 16.
