UPDATE (12:00 p.m.) — The Claremore Police Department said the lockdown at Claremore High School has been lifted after police investigated the threat made against the school and determined it was a swatting incident and not credible.
According to police, investigators were able to determine the call that triggered the lockdown came from what AT&T described as a spoofed phone number.

All lockdown protocols at Claremore High School, Will Rogers Junior High and Roosa Elementary have been lifted.
The department said all schools can return to normal operations, but stated it will maintain an increased presence on campus out of an abundance of caution and to provide additional peace of mind.
CLAREMORE, Oka. — The Claremore Police Department said Claremore High School is on lockdown as police investigate a potential threat involving the school.
The department stated all students and staff are safe at this time.
The Claremore Police Department, Claremore’s School Resource Officer and school administration all quickly responded after being made aware of the threat and the high school was placed on lockdown as a precaution.
Currently, Will Rogers Junior High and Roosa Elementary are in secure-in-place status.
Police are on site at Claremore High School and actively investigating the report and securing the high school’s buildings.
While the investigation is being conducted, no one will be allowed to enter or leave the affected buildings.
The department stated, “We ask families and community members to avoid coming to the campuses and keep school phone lines clear, so staff and law enforcement can remain focused on the response.”
