TULSA, Okla. — Gentner Drummond is getting a high-profile Tulsa endorsement in the Governor’s race: former Tulsa Mayor G.T. Bynum.
Bynum posted on Facebook that Drummond’s campaign sign is the first one he’s put in his yard in 6 years.
Bynum started his post by stressing that he has nothing bad to say about the other candidates.
But he says he believes Drummond could be, as he puts it, “historically great” as Governor.
He praised Drummond’s military service in active combat, his success in business start-ups, and for the time and effort Drummond has spent supporting many non-profit groups.
Bynum says he believes Drummond is pursuing the Governor’s office out of a true desire to serve.
