OWASSO, Okla. — A trial date is set for the man charged in connection to last year’s fiery crash that killed a Tulsa Fire Lieutenant and injured three others.
Christopher Chaney will appear in court on March 1st. We reported Owasso Police said cars were lined up at a red light at 116th and Garnett last September when Chaney crashed his truck into the back of the cars.
The crash caused a chain reaction with oil from the vehicles starting a fire, which killed Tulsa Fire Lieutenant Brian Bizzell.
Chaney is facing involuntary manslaughter along with several other charges all in federal court due to him being a tribal citizen.
