OWASSO — The City of Owasso has a new mayor, but he’s no stranger to Owasso city government.
Former Owasso Vice Mayor Dr. Paul Loving is now the current mayor and was sworn in at the city council meeting Tuesday night. Loving has served on the city council since May 2023 and is now officially the mayor. Outgoing mayor, Alvin Fruga, says it was a joy to be the mayor of Owasso.
Owasso has five wards, and Loving oversees Ward 3.
